Indigenous Football Combine

 Calling all American Indian high school football players! Join us on May 14, 2022, for our first annual Indigenous Football Combine. This combine is exclusively for athletes in the graduating classes of 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. The day will include 40 Yard Dash, 5-10-5 Shuttle, Broad Jump, and Power Ball Toss. Get active and showcase your talent, then learn about the recruitment process from professionals. Parent information sessions will also take place. Space is limited.

Youth Beginning Diné Bizaad (Navajo Language)

The Phoenix Indian Center will be offering the Spring 2022 session of Youth Beginning Diné Bizaad (Navajo Language) with Barsine Onyenedo. This class is geared towards youth ages 9 to 15 yrs. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend with their youth. Classes begin Tuesday, April 26 and will be held via zoom every Tuesday evening from 6:00pm to 7:30pm for 10 weeks. The last class will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Class participation is limited to 25 students/families. This is a community based introduction level to Navajo language for youth. Children’s Beginning Diné Bizaad (Navajo Language)

The Phoenix Indian Center will be offering the Spring 2022 session of Children’s Beginning Diné Bizaad (Navajo Language) with Albert Brent Chase. This class is geared towards infants and children ages 0 to 8 yrs. Classes begin Saturday, April 23 and will be held via zoom every Saturday morning from 9:00am to 10:00am for 10 weeks. The last class will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022. Class participation is limited to 20 families. This is a community based introduction level to Navajo language for children.
