New Office Building
Phoenix Indian Center

The Phoenix Indian Center is moving to a new space.

Starting on May 29, 2024, our doors will open at our new office building in Midtown Phoenix, located at 4041 N. Central Ave, Building B, Phoenix, AZ 85012.

Our new location will be at the southeast corner of Indian School Road and Central Avenue, near various Valley Metro Rail and Bus lines. The new location will also help better support our growing base of customers, staff, and the wider community for events and outreach.

“For over 77 years, the Phoenix Indian Center has served as a crucial community hub for urban American Indians living in the Phoenix metro area,” said Jolyana Begay-Kroupa, CEO of the Phoenix Indian Center. “We are thrilled about transitioning to a larger and more visible building. This new location enhances community gathering and kinship and improves service accessibility, including sharing space with Tohono ‘O’odham Community College,” she added.

Renovations of the new office are expected to be completed in mid-May 2024. The Center will maintain in-person services at our current address until Friday, May 17, 2024, after which services will shift to a virtual format to facilitate the move. We expect to resume in-person services at our new location on Wednesday, May 29. We will continue to post updates in the coming weeks.

This relocation brings the Center next to Native Health Phoenix, fostering unique community engagement and service opportunities. The new, larger two-story facility features conference rooms, classrooms on the first floor, staff offices on the second, and additional meeting and rental spaces. Plans are in place for a community open house this summer, with further details to be announced.
