The Executive Committee and Local Planning Committee are pleased to announce that the US Department of Labor, Indian and Native American Programs Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) 166/477 Western Regional Training will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico at Hotel Albuquerque from November 16th – 20th, 2026, with a theme of Stronger Workforce, Stronger Nations.
This is a rich training for both tribes and urban based programs focusing on workforce development for Indian Country. Bringing well over 200 people to the Pacific Northwest, this training not only provides strong workforce development skills but also affords a focus on the beauty and services in the area. Join Us!

- Location & Hotel:The host hotel for this year’s Western Regional WIOA 166/477 Training is Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town, located at 800 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104. Our overflow hotel, Hotel Chaco, is conveniently located right next door.The group room block has officially closed; however, both properties are still accepting reservations based on availability.
