About the event: The Southwest American Indian 2SLGBTQIA+ Rainbow Gathering was founded by Trudie Jackson in 2011. This free one day conference is centered around the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Rainbow Gathering Award Nominations Now Open
Do you know a person or an organization making an impact in the Two Spirit LGBTQIA+ community? Submit your nomination today to shine light on their work! We are now accepting nominations for two awardees, recognizing outstanding people creating amazing change for our Indigenous people in the southwest.
Dream Catcher Award
Person must be American Indian, identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ and has demonstrated a lifetime commitment and service to the American Indian 2SLGBTQIS+ community in the Southwest.
Basket Award
A person or organization who is recognized as an ally of the American Indian 2SLGBTQIA+ community and has provided support of programing and services targeting this community in the Southwest.
