NABS Oral History Project Info Session

January 13 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The Phoenix Indian Center is offering an informational Zoom webinar on the National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition’s Oral History Project. Its mission is to collect the impactful stories of boarding school survivors and attendees from across the United States. If you are a boarding school survivor and are interested in sharing your stories and experiences, please attend this webinar to learn more information.

Ramona Klein (Anishnabe), a PIC AmeriCorps Young Elder and Boarding School Healing Coalition board member, will be providing information about the Coalition’s visit to the Phoenix area at the end of January. The Oral History Project is a key component of the Department of the Interior’s Federal Indian Boarding School Initiative, launched in 2021 under the leadership of Secretary Deb Haaland.
