Season of Stories: Winter Traditions for Youth Cultural Workshop

The winter season is traditionally a time for indigenous communities to embrace their cultural stories and traditions. To celebrate this, the Phoenix Indian Center and the Urban Indian Coalition of Arizona are hosting “Season of Stories: Winter Traditions for Youth” on Dec. 21 from 2:00–3:30 PM, virtually via Zoom. This event will explore Navajo String Games, including storytelling and an opportunity to learn a few games. Registration is open to youth ages 9-18.
