JOB SEARCH SERVICES
Workforce Development

We have been helping people get into the workforce by providing training and coaching for over 40 years. We help you create your resume and teach you how to update and target it for each job to which you apply. Our trainer and workforce specialists will work with you on your interview skills so that you feel comfortable going into any job interview. Not sure what type of career you want? Our staff will help you determine your strengths and passions to help you make your career choice.

The Job Preparedness program will provide you with tools, resources, information and training to help you successfully obtain a job. Our staff will help you assess your specific skills, experience, knowledge and abilities to help strengthen your resume and prepare you for job interviews.

The Job Preparedness Program Eligibility and Application Process:

STEP 1:   Attend an orientation Mondays at 2 p.m. or Thursdays at 9 a.m. to receive a detailed description of the services we offer and receive an application packet.

STEP 2:   See the front desk about scheduling an appointment with the Intake Specialist. From there, your eligibility will be determined and you will be assigned a Workforce Specialist, who will work individually with you in pursuing your career goals.

The Resource Room computers are available for you to use for self-directed job search, posting, updating or modifying your resume; researching employers and exploring educational opportunities.

Job Readiness Workshops are designed to address specific topics related to successful job searching and are updated regularly according to current hiring practices in the valley. Click Here for a list of our current workshops.
