Our program provides you with individualized career coaching, training, tools, resources, and information to help you successfully obtain employment. We will help assess your specific skills, experience, knowledge and abilities to help strengthen your resume. Our workforce specialists will work with you on your interview skills so that you feel comfortable going into any job interview.

Training Opportunities

We work closely with many schools, training institutions, and employers to assist job seekers looking for a career change or who need a certification to obtain employment in their career field. Below are some training opportunities available but if the below opportunities do not reflect your area of interest, contact our office to learn how we may be able to assist you in obtaining alternate training and certifications.

Career Information Session: Please join us at our Insurance and Securities License Training Information Session! Participants will learn more about each license and how you can receive FREE training. The Phoenix Indian Center has partnered with Primerica to offer training to individuals who are interested in becoming licensed. For questions, call our Workforce Development Team at 602-264-6768.

Are you an employer interested in hiring an intern through our Youth to Work program?

We are offering virtual and in-person internships at no cost to interested businesses! Interns are high school juniors and seniors, with their time being paid by the Phoenix Indian Center.
