GCHAR Recruitment Kick Off

Join us for our Healthy Families Kick Off Event & Research Study!

For American Indian or Alaska Native parents who live in urban Maricopa County: Do you have a child between the ages of 12 – 17? Join ASU for a 10-week parenting research study aimed at improving the health of urban Indigenous families. You can receive up to $200 in gift cards. Holiday Giving To Families

Looking to give this season? Donate to our Holiday Giving Drive! Here are three ways to donate:

  • Donate Food: Non-perishable food items, turkey, or ham for a family dinner. Gift cards are accepted!
  • Donate Toys or Adopt-A-Family: New, unwrapped toys or gift cards can be dropped off at the Phoenix Indian Center. If you are interested in signing up to Adopt-A-Family for the holidays give us a call!
  • Contribute a Charitable Tax Credit: Make a donation online. Click here to see financial contribution options. Donations are being accepted until Dec. 15th at the Phoenix Indian Center. lf you are dropping donations off in-person, please call our office at 602-264-6768 upon arrival.

Native Elders Mentor Program

The Phoenix Indian Center is looking for Native Elders, who are 55 years of age or older, in the Phoenix metro area to participate in a program geared toward supporting and mentoring Native youth through cultural education and preservation.

This mentorship will require a commitment to attend events, youth council meetings, community gatherings, and general advisement in Living In 2 Worlds workshops and other Phoenix Indian Center events as determined by project leads. You will also receive a stipend for your time! We hope to hear from you soon.
