Tues: 09.19 – National Voter Registration Day: Stop by four locations to register for county and Navajo Nation elections. Click for locations. 

Wed: 09.20 – Community Organizer Spotlight: Student UNITY Western Representative Jalen Harvey (Diné) and Kyrene Yazzie (Diné) with the Urban Indian Coalition of Arizona. Click to register. 

Thurs: 09.21 – Spotlight Speaker: Councilmember Doreen Garlid (Diné), the first Native American woman elected to the Tempe City Council. Click to register.

Miss Navajo Council, Inc. Cultural Workshop Day

Join us on Saturday, July 29 for the Miss Navajo Council, Inc. Cultural Workshop Day! The Phoenix Indian Center and the MNCI will cohost a day of workshops focusing on Diné language, culture and traditions. Former Miss Navajo Nation title holders will serve as the facilitators for the panels and sessions. This free event is open to the community; women, men, youth, and elders are encouraged to attend!
