2024 Gourd Dance & Social Powwow

Phoenix Indian Center Gourd Dance & Social Powwow: “Honoring Our Future, Carrying Our Culture Forward”

JOIN US: We are excited for the return of the Phoenix Indian Center Gourd Dance & Social Powwow! 

We will hold the free, one-day, outdoor event on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 at Steele Indian School Park. We are inviting everyone to join us in celebration of our Indigenous community! All dancers and drum groups are welcome. This is an alcohol and drug free event. For questions call 602-264-6768.

Event Schedule:

11:00 AM: Vendor Market Opens. Dancer/Drum Registration
11:00 AM: Gourd Dance
1:00 PM: Grand Entry
4:30 PM: Gourd Dance
6:00 PM: Grand Entry

Admission: Free and open to the community.

Grand Opening Open House

The community is invited to join us as we celebrate the grand opening of our new building! We will have a ribbon cutting, tours, PIC resource tables and guest speakers. To attend the event, click here
