Thunderbird Throttle

Join us on April 1st, as THE THUNDERBIRD THROTTLE roars through the Valley and into several Native American communities featuring Indigenous Riders, Cultural Performances, Incredible Experiences with Native American communities, leaders, social service advocates and dozens of families impacted by the Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) issue.

This is the FIRST AND ONLY Native American Benefit Motorcycle Ride SANCTIONED by Arizona Bike Week, FEATURED by Arizona Rider Motorcycle News and ENDORSED by the Phoenix Indian Center!  The event is expected to attract hundreds of riders, Native American youth, Tribal members and visitors.

CompTIA IT Training

Are you interested in a job in the technology industry? If so, this is the perfect training for you! The Phoenix Indian Center has partnered with CompTIA Tech Career Academy to offer a 17 week in-person training. Attend this FREE training, get CompTIA A+ certified and land your first IT job!

  • Be American Indian, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian.
  • Reside in Maricopa or Coconino County (off reservation).
  • Be unemployed or underemployed and not in school.
  • Have a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma

Two Spirit Powwow

The Phoenix Indian Center and South Mountain Community College are proud to co-sponsor this annual contest powwow which will feature dancing, drumming, food vendors, along with arts and crafts vendors. We invite everyone to join us as we celebrate the Two Spirit, LGBTQ+ and Native American community at this family friendly, drug/alcohol free event. For information, call 602-264-6768.
