Join us for Summer Academy!

The Phoenix Indian Center is proud to partner with South Mountain Community College for Summer Academy 2021! All American Indian high school students can EARN a credit (pass/fail) this summer by registering for a Digital Storytelling class that will be taught by different tribal teachers. Students will learn new skills for oral storytelling –they will learn how to effectively use digital media to bring their words to life! This experience will strengthen cultural awareness and it will build community among the youth. Let’s make this your goal today and register!

September Is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

The Urban Indian Coalition of Arizona and the Phoenix Indian Center invite you to support our efforts to promote suicide prevention awareness. September brings opportunities to foster a safety net of support for Native American youth and families. Preventing suicide is a community effort that is possible when there are many voices working towards the same goal.
