2020 Spring Language & Culture Classes

Are you interested in learning more about American Indian Culture? Come and join us for our Language and Culture classes! We are offering a powwow drum group class, Navajo singing class, intergenerational Navajo language class,  and a class on the basic skills of Navajo weaving!

IT Certification Training

The Phoenix Indian Center CompTIA A+ Certification Training is a 10-week, full-time classroom training program that covers a technical computer curriculum geared toward the CompTIA A+ certification.

Students also learn professional skills to ensure their long-term career success. Graduates are connected to local area employers for jobs.


  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old,
  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent,
  • Be American Indian, Native Hawaiian or Alaskan Native, and
  • Attend an information/orientation session

Information sessions will be held on:

Tuesday, January 7, 2020; Wednesday, January 22, 2020; Tuesday, February 4, 2020; and Tuesday, February 11, 2020.

All information sessions will begin at 9:00 AM and will be held at the Phoenix Indian Center: 4520 N Central Ave, Ste 250 | Phoenix, AZ 85012

The Phoenix Indian Center presents Késhjéé’

Celebrate this winter season by joining us for Késhjéé’ (Navajo Shoegame), a winter game that has been a favorite of the Diné people for centuries! This fun game is designed to teach the importance of virtues such as honor, honesty, loyalty and trust. Don’t miss this cultural family experience!

When: Friday, December 20, 2019 and Saturday, December 21, 2019

6:00 PM – Midnight (same time both nights)
